tuesday post for peace

with all of the recent information coming out in (gasp) the msm- about corruption and executive orders- and faked al quaeda operatives, one would think that holding someone accountable and starting the pullout from iraq would be a no brainer. but no. sadly no. here we are, with the dems doing nothing. even after cindy s. and her crew begged and pleaded- and promptly got arrested. even after poll numbers hit a new high with folks wanting impeachment. even after meeting with the former ‘axis of evil’ folks to hope that they can do what we couldn’t- bring some stability to a country we de-stabilized. we have to work diligently for peace- and it has to become a mindset, because even after the last soldier is home, america will not be at peace. she may be resting in peace- but there are millions of angry people here- and peace is far from our minds.

Well…did you see Gonzo on C-SPAN? I guess they handed him his butt today. Such excuses to come from a mouth! You are right…even if the last soldier comes home we will be far from peace…and we can thank our administration for being the “divider”.

Great Post…and It is okay to be Angry- someone has kicked the crap out of our system of Justice, and the Constitution, and it is not just about Iraq that they have created a mess- also HERE at home…We can be angry and still want Peace…It might take Our Anger to get Peace….
WE THE PEOPLE did not happen eating tea and crumpets and writing poetry….

What disturbs me, Betmo, that in spite of all the things you correctly cite, & 6 years of it, no less, do we see Congress doing anything but equivocating, backpedalling & talking to themselves? How much more insane do things have to get?
