The Associated Press reported this afternoon that Democrats were successfully strong-armed by Bush’s threat to veto a compromise that would have had Bushco’s monarchial supersecret spying powers damped by the requirement that he submit requests to the FISA court well after spying actually commenced.
Makes this Demon ill to have to post about it. Manipulated & thoroughly whipped by a petty tyrant of a frat-boy King. A sad state of affairs indeed.

I fear you may be right, Sumo. I once thought such a thing could never happen here, but history may show that by the time Americans wised up to the necessity of taking power back from the assholes they “elected,” it was too late. Too many other things to attend to–
