The RNC now claiming Executive Privilege??

The Republican National Committee said it will not abide by a subpoena and turn over documents to a Congressional committee investigating the firings of at least eight US attorneys last year because the RNC is waiting to see if the White House will assert executive privilege over RNC documents at the center of the controversy, according to an outside law firm retained by the RNC.
The White House has asserted executive privilege to block senior administration officials from testifying before Congress about their involvement in the decision to fire the federal prosecutors. Moreover, the White House has cited executive privilege in declining to turn over specific documents to Congress that may shed further light on the circumstances behind the attorney firings. The US attorneys believe they were fired for partisan political reasons. In some instances, the US attorneys said they were pressured by Republican lawmakers and RNC operatives to file criminal charges against Democrats at the center of public corruption probes prior to last year’s midterm election as well as individual cases of voter fraud, which the attorneys said was based on weak evidence, in order to cast a dark cloud over Democratic incumbents and swing election results toward Republican challengers
Hell, isn’t everything Executive Privilege by now under King George? We need Congress to move their ass..but wait..they are on vacation..never mind.
what does it say about where we are and where we are headed when there is no law of the land anymore? we have a small group of people who represent roughly 50 percent of the american population in ideology- and they refuse to obey the laws of the land because ‘the other side’ is running things. hell, does that mean i don’t have to obey the law because the majority of law enforcement and the judicial system in this country is in the hands of mostly repubs? same kind of logic, no?
This is just terrible. The do what you want temper tantrum crap coming from the top like all the corruptive ineptitude is detrimental to America and our system of Governance.
This is all just horrible and it will continue to worsen. We have got to get rid of all these idiots and quickly if it isn’t too late already.
I report, you folks decide. It’s sickening to me that a completely PARTISAN group like the RNC would even think of claiming Exec. Priv.
Is there a “Spines-R-Us” store? If there is somebody needs to give Congress a gift certificate. If the RNC grabs ex.priv.~ we had best give up..or revolt.
Just imagine one day thanking Russia and China for giving us our country back when they unite with the rest of the World to stop these Fascist Nazi’s.
Now wouldn’t that be something. If our elected representatives won’t uphold our Constitution than we will have too look outside the country for others who will not allow these insane people to destroy the World.
