i originally got this from thornie- and i wanted to highlight this again. if you crochet or whipstitch- or know folks who do– or could simply advertise- shelley has a good thing going here. she is making afghans for kids with cancer at camp sanguinity- i think that’s how you spell it. check out her site and the update page. if you are interested- she has all of the info right there. do what you can- ‘leftovers’ go to kids in hospital so nothing goes to waste

Oh, I so appreciate you telling folks about the project! I hope some new folks will participate. It doesn’t take much…just a few crocheted or knitted squares from many different people. When the children see how many people care, I think they will be overjoyed.
