van gogh- field of poppies
upon the advice of a blog buddy of mine, i am posting something nice and completely different than the usual fare. she said that everyone needs a break from the fray now and again. i suppose that’s why i have my page at the sirens forum (on sidebar right) and betmo’s corner- so that i can escape for a moment to somewhere lovely. visual art, music, poetry, literature of most kinds- all serve to elevate us to a higher place than our normal day to day living. it is what separates us from other species. slow down and take a moment to smell the flowers and enjoy nature and art.

That is a beautiful painting. I love van Gogh! It is nice to see something like this and enigma’s stuff. I enjoy the respite but personally I can’t stop trying to write the truth about all the biased crap every day so thanks!
