The Art of Mark BryanFrom the LA Times we get this ‘wonderful’ news..

President Bush delivered his threatened veto of a $23-billion water bill Friday, but Congress is virtually certain to reverse it in the first override of a Bush veto.
And Bush and the Democratic-controlled Congress are moving closer to a federal budget showdown that could result in more vetoes.

The House and Senate are expected to move swiftly next week to override Bush’s veto of a bill loaded with water-related projects sought by members of both parties, from shoring up California’s levees to protecting the Gulf Coast from hurricanes.

In a statement accompanying his veto, Bush said, “This bill lacks fiscal discipline.”

I almost bit a hole in my lip to keep from laughing at the last line..fiscal discipline? WTF does this guy know about fiscal discipline? He is paying for a war with money he borrows from China. He has no problem giving tax breaks to the rich..but not the middle class..and he has the nads to call out THIS bill as lacking in fiscal discipline?

Just how stupid is the American Public? Are they buying what this fuckwit is selling? Christ, I hope not..I really do. There might beThe puppet show by Mark Bryan hope however. Vitter, the Rethug with a penchant for hookers has jumped onboard the opposition to BushCo’s veto by saying this:

“I am 100% confident that we can override this veto.”

Dude..I hope your right..at least your on the correct side of the issue this time around. With no hookers in sight, I hope your not blowing smoke up our collective asses.
