Man, is it that time of year AGAIN?

Today is just another day..but its also the anniversary of the day I came screaming into the world..a month early I might add. My inbox is already over-flowing with birthday wishes from various websites where I spend my money or have an account of some sort.

I really like the ones where I put my age as 99..they are sending me a birthday greeting congratulating me on being 100 years old Then there are those where I lied my ass off as being younger than I actually am. A good one that made me actually laugh was this one from a classic rock station in San Diego that I listen to, KGB. Check it out if you wish, hope the link is still good. Nothing says Happy Birthday like Ozzie and Keith Richardson ya know? Most people would call these emails spam..but hey..it’s funny because none of them actually have my age correct!

I promised to beat the living hell out of any family member that calls me before 9am to wish me a HB. Add to that I told the ball and chain that I wanted Brad Pitt for my birthday and would settle for nothing less if he knew what was good for him.

Most likely it will be just another day where I read nasty political articles, write mean-spirited blog posts about those that were elected to lead us and perhaps a glass or two of Two-Buck Chuck to top it all off. At least the Chardonnay got a gold medal this year..I doubt I will be that lucky personally for anything I have done or written this past year.

But I must say..I am very proud of Sirens Chronicles. I love this group blog and appreciate every single person that has contributed to it. Even those that got a bee in their bonnet for whatever reason and left in a huff…This blog is probably the sole reason I haven’t gone postal on a government official by now. Thank you to each and every person that has given me something you wrote to publish or stopped by to read the words of the talented writers assembled here..you have no idea how much I love and appreciate you. I think we are a wonderfully diverse group of wingnuts who should take pride in what we do each day in the name of righting the wrongs in our society.

After all, its a thankless fucking job..but some team of jackass’s has to do it!
