In The Midst of Horror a Christmas Tale

December 25, 2007 by sagefever

Some of you may remember the story about our soldiers in Iraq and the orphanage full of children like my son. Three have died but for one there is real hope. Here is a modern day Christmas story,I hope it has a very happy ending..http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/…

This story just get better!! Joy Joy Joy! This wonderful man Scott Southward and Sgt. Kerry Otwaska,Lt. Sheree Gunderson have stepped up to the plate and are working ,with the cooperation of the Iraqi and US governments to bring all 21 orphans here and find them homes. The boys have disabilities ranging from autism,Downs syndrom and cerebral palsy. Both governments have to agree to issue exit visas, and visas to allow the boys to stay here. If you think women have it tough there..imagine being that little 3 year old boy left in the streets of Bagdad, unable to do anything but drag your body along the street looking for kindness? Or death. Their future here will be a bed of roses! This touched me so much because one of the boys looked very much like Kelsey~with a tan!
Peace as always and in all ways~ sage
