good grief

March 8, 2008 by Betmo

are there any politicians in the real world- or do they all stay within the safe beltway bubble of denial?

“We have to reach out to independents and the old Reagan Democrats that won elections for former President Reagan,” McCain says. ” “But I’m very confident that a liberal Democrat versus a conservative Republican, and that would be whatever Sen. Obama or Sen. Clinton articulate, that I can win that debate. Because I think America’s a right-of-center nation. So I’m confident.”

right of center. uh huh. so the 30% of conservatives who won’t vote for him- but might vote for obama- are right of center? and the fact that there are more folks joining the democratic party than ever before- how do you explain that away? ah- i get it. since hillary clinton is endorsing you for president- you figure you have her votes and your votes- and that equals the majority being right of center. that ‘fuzzy math’ gets ya every time mad dog. can this election just be over already? weeping jesus on the cross.

Hmm the Reagan democrats would pretty much be deceased by now… maybe McCain has a good strategy?
