This is my professional advice to Air America: BRING BACK RANDI RHODES
I never thought the day would come when Air America would suspend one of its most poplar talk show hosts, the one and only Randi Rhodes. For those of you who missed this debacle, Rhodes appeared at a comedy club where she delivered an obscenity-laden monologue in which she referred to Hilary Clinton and Geraldine Ferraro as “big f—ing whores.” Somehow I don’t think Rhodes literally meant that Ferraro and Clinton walk street corners in scanty clothing looking for men to pick them up. But I do think that Rhodes meant to say that Ferraro’s refusal to retract her remarks concerning Obama’s race (i.e. that he wouldn’t be where he is if he weren’t a black man) correctly identified Ferraro as a political whore whose racist remarks were little more than a prostitution of long standing democratic ideals (note small “d”) in exchange for a tawdry political points. Moreover. I would also suggest that if we define a political whore in terms of a person who will or say anything to get elected, including the selling out and prostitution of personal and democratic beliefs then yes, Hilary Clinton could be described as a political whore. Granted, the word f—ing was probably beyond the pail, but let’s get real. The remark wasn’t made on her afternoon talk show. It was made during the course of a stand up comedy routine and I think we all know that stand up comedies are well known for the use of obscenities.
Frankly, I believe that Rhodes should have been publically chastised for her use of language in the given context (not suspended) and rewarded for speaking truth to power. And the part that irritates me the most is the way those professional hate mongers and misanthropes at FOX Propaganda, ur ah, FOX News have wallowed in their phony indignation. This after all is the same Network that gives us the delusional, anal retentive rantings of Bill O’Really and Shame Hammity. They may not spew obscenities but they spew negative hyperbole like skunks spraying an unsuspecting victim.
As for the two bit political sell outs at AIR AMERICA who decided to silence most popular talk show host for daring to express her opinion off air, I would suggest that the tern whore is highly and accurately descriptive.

Air America is indeed incorrect in chastising Ms. Rhodes at all. She did nothing wrong. I would disagree with your assessment of Farraro so-called mistake, however. I can see no reason why Obama should have done any better than Edwards, who was his equal in experience and oratorical ability. While I don’t agree that being black was the ONLY reason he’s still in the race (Pun/No Pun-Please select one option now.) it is an obvious “hook”.

As a former Hilary Supporter it didn’t take me long to lose both interest in and respect for the f—ing whore. In a sane society people like Hilary would be hospitalized to protect themselves and the public from their ever expanding egos. Hilary is a chameleon, changing her rhetoric according to the latest opinion polls. Who know what she truly believes about anything? She’s so good at prostituting her core values for convenience sakes that no one, including Hilary herself, knows what those core values really are. Although suspect that the only thing Hilary believes in is Hilary Clinton. Buy the woman some hot pants, fish net nylons, some cheap plastic boots, some cheap costume jewelry and a revealing halter top so she can at least DRESS for the part.
BTW she lost me when she turned racist on Obama.
