<description>"To announce that there must be no criticism of the President, or that we are to stand by the President, right or wrong, is not only unpatriotic and servile, but is morally treasonable to the American public."-Teddy Roosevelt</description>

<description>I am fortunate to live in an area that boasts two of the largest organic farmers markets - and year round. So for those of us who are unable to grow, the next best thing is to purchase locally, from local farmers. Part of buying my produce from the local farmers markets means I purchase what's in season; no more strawberries when it's December; no more cardboard tomatoes in January.

		<description>Beautiful Betmo!
Love the green. Just seeing the veggies makes me want to get a fork and wait. My potatoes are coming up well as are the onions and garlic. Looking forward to your updates. Tell me if you want some input.
I still have to contact my Aunt in NH who owns greenhouses and see what is up there. my uncle is a farmer by birth. Anyway I was talking to Wease and seeing you on the second floor reminds me of what we both saw and that is the 8 foot tomato plants for sale on TV. Supposedly 60 pounds of tomatoes per plant. $10 per plant 3 for $15 but they didn't look too good to either one of us.
Trice just bought a tomato and they were $2.50 per. Amazing! I posted along these lines "growing problems" the last couple of days myself. This is not going to get better or go away. By the way I have written about Georgia's water wars many times and Florida believe it or not is also in that same fight over that water. Without checking I believe it was Barcelona this morning that is shipping in 5 million gallons of water to avert a crisis.
It is going on around the world and I have covered that too but you see the developing wars, the growing food wars, increasing environmental crises around the world. This will get a lot worse and what Bush will do is my immediate concern but that is a whole different story. Oh man, you are making a smart move. many around here think I'a crazy but oh well!
