<description>Thanks for posting this Dusty- regardless of what candidate you support, uou have to admit it is great to see so many people involved &#038; taking an active interest in this election. Barack Obama has not done the typical campaign schtick. He's stated his positions &#038; intent, but he is not reading a list of promises that will never see the light of day. He admits he is not perfect, and this campaign is not about himself.
It is refreshing to hear an eloquent speaker, who does not pander. When Bush threw a barb about appeasement- that is being open to talk to other countries leaders, Obama responded. Not only was it tacky of Bush to be playing politics while visiting abroad, but his closed door, us &#038; them, perpetual enemy policies have been a failure. Bush has been the anti-diplmat, and if anything, his legacy has made this country more unstable. I hope Obama wins big today, and we the people send a clear message that the deadly and corrupt regime we have endured will no longer be tolerated. In essence, We the People must do what Congress failed to do- stop the Executive branch of government from it's reckless, lawless, out of control
actions, and taking this country down with it, in the process.
