KO has tax problems…

Before the rightwing nutjobs jump on this, I thought I might put it out there. KO owes some back taxes. From TV Newser:

Page Six picks up the reports about Keith Olbermann’s taxing problems.

OlbermannWatch.com reports that New York state has issued a tax warrant or judgment against the MSNBC host for $2,269.50 in back taxes owed by his personal corporation, Olbermann Broadcasting Empire Inc. “This was a bookkeeping disagreement between Keith’s accountants and the state which was resolved months ago,” an MSNBC spokesman told Page Six.

Olbermann Watch also reported a second judgment against Olbermann, going back almost eight years, that has since been resolved.

…this one for Keith personally not his “Empire.” The judgment was filed on 7/27/2000 for $21,565. California records show yet another judgment — this one for a whopping $77,425 — which was filed on 9/21/2001. Records indicate that Keith finally got around to resolving the matter four months later.

The idiot that runs the Olbermann Watch is in the same class as Drudge…no class and even less intelligence evidently. If your tax guys fuck up, usually they have to pay the difference. Plus, taking four months to cough up $77k isn’t unusual by any stretch of the imagination.
