It obviously changes people's view of life in general. But I agree with your friends pov on this issue and I am quite amazed that he could still be neutral on this issue after all he has been through. Life is precious indeed. I think abortion is a personal decision between the mother and her conscience. Although the govt uses viability as a means to determine when a fetus can be aborted...it also says that if you murder a fetus still in the womb, you have killed another human being, regardless of the age or development or viability of that fetus. so all that tells us is that the govt can and does twist things to get the result they desire.
