McClellan to testify willingly on PlameGate

Wow wee..the man really is tossing BushCo under the bus and backing up over ‘it’ isn’t he? From TO via AP:
President Bush’s former spokesman, Scott McClellan, will testify before a House committee next week about whether Vice President Dick Cheney ordered him to make misleading public statements about the leaking of CIA agent Valerie Plame’s identity. McClellan will testify publicly and under oath before the House Judiciary Committee on June 20 about the White House’s role in the leak and its response, his attorneys, Michael and Jane Tigar, said on Monday. (emphasis mine)
If he could hang the Big Dick Cheney out to dry on this issue alone..I might even applaud ol Scotty. Seriously…

I have to admit, I was at first quite pissed off that McClellan waited so long to divulge the truth (how many died & suffered in that time?)… but if he can bring down the house of cards & force legal accountability, that results in impeachment or legal action against bushco…. that would yield some redeeming value.
Even if it is this late….. I want to see SOME legal liability for the Bushco crooks.
Maybe even an added bonus of a negative impact on McSame & the party.

I agree Fran, its better late than never. But I really don’t think McClellan will add much to the evidence against these guys unless he can say unequivocally that the big Dick Cheney told him to lie…lie being the operative word of course.
