inmates are clearly running the asylum

i cannot fathom how americans- whether ordered or paid to or not- can commit torture and murder. today, in front of the house of representatives judiciary committee, a former state department official admitted that that is exactly what has happened. considering the amount of children and innocent men held in these secret torture camps, it really blows my mind that america is responsible for innocent people’s murder and death. i just don’t have the words.
