The shit hit the fan this week when Obama did not vote against immunity for the illegal wiretapping.... as it should. If he wants to tout his knowledge of the Constitution & civil rights, he;d best damned well step up. He did get pounced on about it & that's good. Talking the talk eventually equates to Voting the vote. Please... I know it feels like kin=lling hte messenger after the fact-- because the REAL culprits there are int he Executive branch & schemed this up- they are the true criminals, and the telecoms got in the hard place-- the fricking government was bearing down on them saying you must cooperate against terrorism. Not asking them if they would like to - but telling them they had to. I can see where it gets muddy there.
