I don't think we have beetles in our yard....we have no bees either...we have some nibblers- but it is all bunnies and small critters...we have birds- so I know there are bugs out there somewhere... this is so funny ...I was just making a list for you of bug repellant plants in my garden that are intact and have no feeding marks .....mint , poppies, snapdragons, petunias....I thought maybe it was smell related...? ( these plants also have not been nibbled by bunnies either)... great post...I will save it for next summer when I have a serious garden ( I have spent this summer researching serious bunny/critter fences....)
