There are always going to be clueless fools who believe the bogus crap that is put out there about any well known person, and it won’t be because of a New Yorker cover, but because of their relative gullibility and intellectual laziness. This New Yorker brouhaha is much ado about nothing. It is obvious where the New Yorker stands in terms of their political leanings and there was no malice behind the cover.

I said it all in my post really, the cover provoked discussion, and thats a good thing. Every news outlet has weighed in on this and its probably a 'water cooler' convo at every job in America right now. That can't be a bad thing in my opinion. And besides..if we can lampoon and/or satirize Bush, Cheneny et.al, we should be able to stand a little heat in that department too. ;) Paybacks <i>are</i> a bitch.
