Ten Post Round-Up

Two good things about Fall: 1) fashionable clothes that don’t require the revealing of copious amounts of skin and 2) only a few more weeks left in this election cycle.

Thankfully, I have the first one sewn up, easily, since Fall fashions favor big girls, like me.  But, this continuing election cycle is getting on my last nerve.  Now, with the economy in full-blown crisis mode, the yammering from both sides of the political spectrum is really making me long for the days when the latest news I read about came from a Scholastic Newsletter.

But, like any good blogger, I cannot look away from the spectacle that is this (or any) election cycle and so, I will dutifully post today’s Ten Post Round-Up for your amusement and edification.

Speaking of edification, I wonder what Uncle Jay has to say, today.

• Your tax dollars at work in Colorado.

• The SAT going the way of the dinosaur?

• Is the end of capitalism nigh?

• What lovely glass houses McCain lives in.

• Apparently, Main Street is not worth saving.

• McCain has been showing his support for the troops for years.

• Post Office trying to shine on postal consumers?

• Obama is so sweet.

• Not only can we thank McCain for the Blackberry, we can thank him for the current economic meltdown.

• Palin might want to sell that tanning bed on eBay.
