a mountain of snakes

sean penn is one of my favorite actors- and activists.  he campaigned for dennis k. during the primaries and many folks don’t realize that he did op ed pieces for the san francisco chronicle.  he is most recently starring in the movie ‘milk’ about harvey milk but took on a writing assignment that is a pretty big scoop- talking with hugo chavez and the castro brothers.  he spoke to chavez and raul castro- and he prints the entire article in the huffington post.  i read an excerpt last week- read the whole thing.  it is amazing.
