while we all knew that the fight to ‘go green’ was going to be a long, hard one- and we knew that oil interests in america wanted to keep things status quo- i guess i never gave opec and more importantly saudi arabia- much of a thought.  so, after talking to mom and reading the transcript of leslie stahl’s 60 minutes interview with oil honchos from that country, it started me thinking about the bigger picture.  weren’t the majority of 9/11 hijackers saudi?  weren’t saudis the only folks- namely bin laden’s family- allowed to leave during flight groundings?  the web weaves around neo cons and arabia and we are the flies caught up in it.  money does indeed make the world go round.
