They have a bunch of gold mines and are booming though they do feel for everyone else. Good luck to them when the rest of the country gets desperate! Anyway for more than 2 years now I have been warning of this and it is still just taking shape. It will dwarf the great depression despite these wasted bailouts. Greenspan engineered this for Bush. Back then they were fighting to retain an adequate military so I thought the economy would be going south so the military would have plenty of volunteers! Seems like I was right!For many today that is the only option. On the side! You mention your young friend! I have 3 sons in the military. Two are lifers and their youngest brother went in a year ago and he loves it and will be lifer too. He is a combat engineer but his unit is at white sands training for al least a year then who knows what. One son flies another is EOD! He has been to S Korea a couple times but for him it it to support the whole area. He has been in 10 years and never been state side.
