The 9th Circuit Court of Appeals has told Eric Holder NO on using the states secret privilege argument in the rendition case against a Boeing subsidiary.
Bet that just ruined his day! From the Jurist writeup linked above:
The US Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit ruled Tuesday that the state secrets privilege does not bar [...]

Cat and I are planning to move to Northern California soon. Leaving this horrible little backwards desert town and back to paradise.
Watch this video and see if you can blame us. From Mount Shasta to Santa Cruz {the places we will be constantly travelling between} are depicted in the vid backed by an instrumental version [...]

Yesterday was a full, very long day for me. I was at the Kern County Courthouse steps 90 minutes before the rally began and didn’t get home until after 9 pm. It was organized by the folks that directed and produced Witch Hunt. Seems the local News organizations beat me there.

The directors are Don Hardy [...]

Last Monday President Obama went to visit the CIA. He needed to buddy up to the agency and let them know he was still on their side.
“What makes the United States special, and what makes you special, is precisely the fact that we are willing to uphold our values and ideals even when it’s hard [...]

Bernie Horn has a great read up at Campaign For America’s Future. He breaks down what the right side of the aisle has done in the last 100 days. It isn’t pretty m’dear reader. From his article:
Why it’s the same old white guys: Dick Cheney and Karl Rove, Newt Gingrich and Dick Armey, Fox News [...]

Obama Report Cards —

April 28, 2009 by Gee Carol · 3 Comments

Elected in November of 2008, President Obama on April 29 will go into the next 100 days of his new administration. I have no idea what is magic with the number 100, outside of President Franklin Roosevelt’s record-making administration during the Great Depression. Everyone with an opinion seems bent on grading the President’s first hundred [...]

Closing in on 100 days do you think Obama is making the grade?

I am constantly every day impressed with Obama’s many accomplishments and what he is doing in order for us to get back our version of America and destroy the mess Bush and Republicans made of us and our America while instituting their version. He makes inroads toward that end. That is why as they get [...]

The previous census had us hitting 9,000,000,000 by 2050, but due to a tremendous reverse leap of conciousness, we’ll be 10 years early. The good news is God wants it that way! Real Christians don’t merely reproduce themselves. A real Christian pumps out a “miracle” as fast as possible:

So next time you’re doing your best to conserve [...]

The ladies..and I use that term loosely, were in their 60’s and one was in her 80’s. They started pulling hair and scrapping recently at a senior citizens hall during a freaking Bingo game.
The women were banned from the establishment for 90 days. Nothing apparently, riles up old folks like a cheater at bingo.

Trippy? Yes..stupid? [...]

Again I went to Denny’s late last night. It’s kinda the place where I keep my finger on the pulse of the right wing religionuts and the rantings of the day. A bigoted ex-Marine who also frequents the Roswell Dennys early in the morning was there babbling his hate speak again. Listening to his conspiracy [...]

The NASCAR race I look forward to the most ended dramatically when Carl Edwards flew into the fence and debris from his disintegrating stock car hurt 8 people in [...]
