If You Get Confused…Ease On Down The Road.

First off I wanna apologize to Dusty and the rest of you for leaving the Monday thing blank. I am a slacker and I guess that shows by the new home I moved into Sunday night. Yeah…that’s The Mothership there. It beamed us all the way to Texas starting Sunday and after almost freezing our butts off in the Wal Mart parking lot half way between Roswell and Dallas (the furnace wasn’t turned on silly us) we made the trip okay. We are spending a couple of days in the Dallas area seeing fambly and then going west.
The motor is fine and pulled the car and our stuff without a problem. We are getting stuff put away where it belongs and it is looking nice so far.
Visited with Cat’s brother and his wonderful wife and daughter. His stepsons are coming back from Iraq just in time for Thanksgiving and I couldn’t be happier. Neither of them were injured and I guess that is something I am gonna break down and say thanks for. My friend Beverly’s son got shot in the butt in Afghanistan 2 weeks ago and although he is injured I am also thankful he will be all right. These kids were just babies a minute ago and I am completely weirded out they are fighting the war already. Brings the whole thing closer than I want it to be. If the gawds are listening I hope they will see fit to make the war machine bring our troops safely home soon.
My beautiful sister visited for hours today and I am gonna lunch with her tomorrow then going to see mom and dad Thursday. The visit was great and catching up thrilled me. I miss my “Sissy” and it was so refreshing to hang out with her today.
I found some internet service for a bit and am using it to just update everyone. I haven’t had time to check out what is going on out there in the world, let alone have time to form an opinion and write it down. Maybe tomorrow I will bitch again but for now I just need to Ease On Down The Road.

Our plans have been put off later than we had thought. Family things in Tex-ass changed so it will be a couple of days later when we get to the Left Coast.
Cat just told me to tell you she can’t wait to meet you too…and you know how much I am looking forward to it.
