This journey was started by a band of Sirens*. These women embody the definition of ‘Siren’, to wit:

Any of a group of female and partly human creatures in Greek mythology that lured mariners to destruction by their singing. But these sirens do not sing..they write..with a passion and wit unmatched by mortal men.

We will not be silent. We will rail against injustice and intolerance everywhere we see it. We will call on our brothers and sisters to do the same. We will not stand by and watch, to do so shows acceptance and we will not accept these standards as the norm so long as we have a breath in our bodies. We will hold the people in power accountable. We will shine the light of truth into their beady fucking little rat eyes.

WE WILL NOT BE SILENT.
