Why does Obama hate Faux Noise?

He has not called upon a Fox news clown yet in any of his five pressers so far according to TV Newser:
FishbowlDC’s Patrick Gavin reveals that during the five news conferences held by Pres.-elect Obama since his election, Fox News has not been called on at any of them. See who was.
Warms the cockles of my little black heart don’t cha know?
I hope it drives Rupert insane.
HALF TRUTHS FROM FOX
March 23, 2008 by PraetorOne · 4 Comments
On Wednesday, March 19th, FOX (Fools, Oddballs, and Xenophobes) News ran a highly deceptive story in which it claimed that life was all sunshine and pretty colors in Iraq. Part of this thankfully brief story stated that the military wasn’t broken, that it had enough manpower, and that morale in Iraq was up. Now to a certain degree the story contained some accurate information so I shall address that first.
At the present time we have 158,000 troops in Iraq, 11 percent of which say that morale is high. In a similar vein personal morale is up to approximately 20 percent. More over there has been a decrease in violence in Iraq, but as usual, FOX News has only told half the story. Other factors which might explain the increase in morale are “Battlemind training” which teaches soldiers, troops and families what to expect during the deployment and which trains them how to readjust when they come back home. At the sane time there has been an effort to reduce the fear and embarrassment associated with asking for help. In 2006, 34 percent said they were fearful or embarrassed to ask for help. In 2007 that figure had dropped slightly to 29 percent. Some of that might account for the increase in morale.
In a recent Army Mental Health Report compiled by Mental Health professionals, the results revealed that soldiers who had been deployed “only” once or twice had fewer mental health problems than those who had served in three or four deployments. But among the latter group it was discovered that incidents of anxiety, depression, and PTSD were about the same as they were in the previous year’s survey: 30 percent of the troops on repeated tours reported that they had a problem.
Here’s the rub. This is what FOX did NOT mention.

i guess i have a real problem with white folks crying over the words of black folks. i mean, seriously, did you actually listen to barack obama’s speech? reverend wright’s? or did you base your opinions on the ad nauseum coverage of the largely white news pundits working for largely white corporate sponsors? spare me the indignation. let’s lay it all out here- naked and bare in the light- racism exists- whether you are black, white, yellow, brown, purple or whatever. white folks discriminate against black people; black people discriminate against asian folks; asian folks discriminate against latino folks….. and the circle of life goes on. so, before we get all holier than thou about how liberal and progressive we are- and how horrible it is for reverend wright to say ‘god damned america’- let’s get a bit of perspective.
i am a white woman. i have never knowingly in my life experienced racism, misogyny, or classism. i have never felt, in my life, less than or that i couldn’t do anything i damned well pleased. i have pretty near always had what i needed and since i became an adult- i have had what i wanted. i lock my car doors. i lock my home door and windows. if i am walking alone, i cross the street when approached– by anyone. why? because i am a woman. i worked in an inpatient psych unit and i worked in a field with kid’s who had very troubled parents. i am aware of my surroundings and i don’t really give a shit if you are black, white or purple- if there are more than 2 of you- i cross. men or women. i am lucky. how many people of color can say the same thing? how about talking to some of the native american tribes who live on reservations in this country. there are several here in new york state- these folks live in abject poverty. how about the legal americans who happen to be migrant workers or meat plant packers in this country? they don’t live in gated communities where many may work as au pairs or lawn folks. you can feel self righteous that you don’t behave that way if you want- but many in this country do.

A Jolly Roger preface: I am not a kinder, gentler kind of guy. I pretty much call ‘em as I see ‘em, and that can be bothersome to the point of offensive. The rest of this post will be boilerplate Jolly Roger, and if you’re easily offended…. it’s time to find a “Brady Bunch” rerun to watch. If you continue to read, remember-I told you ahead of time
So says DLC scumbag Bob Beckel, who is nearly as beloved by the FOX “News” crowd as Holy Joe himself is.
I had hoped to avoid throwing my two cents in on LIEberman’s kiss-kiss with McCavein, but Beckel opening his idiotic mouth was just too much.
What qualifies Beckel to speak as an “expert” in these situations? Why, his work as Walter Mondale’s campaign manager, of course. I’m sure everyone remembers the “heckuva job” he did on that one, right? He’s the guy that advised Mondale to hide from the “liberal” label, something that Mondale had worn for his entire life with justifiable pride. Beckel conspired with the wingnuts to trash the term “liberal,” and make those who were identified with it look like weak cowards when they tried to run from it. How many people have done the Democratic Party more damage than Bob Beckel has done?
If you clicked on the link to Beckel’s bio, you know by now that he’s also described as a “born-again Christian.” And if there’s any doubt in your mind about THAT, let me put those doubts to bed for you by introducing you to what Beckel puts to bed. He’s a Jesusistani through and through.
Shitbags like Beckel have been major enablers of wingtard turncoats like LIEberman, who ceased to be anything but a corporate whore decades ago. Of course, whoring is one of those things that Beckel can totally get behind. It’s really too bad that he’s never been able to get behind the ideals that made the Democratic Party a great force in American prosperity and opportunity.
